OKAPI

Sometimes nature has fun mixing genres and the result is clearly unpredictable. Half giraffe – half zebra, with oversized ears, a 50-centimeter tongue and small hairy horns; the Okapi is an extraordinary mammal from the equatorial forests of Central Africa.
Chance, has also fun mixing genres. This is probably the best way to explain the unexpected meeting of the four musicians of the group OKAPI.
Paths that have crossed over the years on the jazz, rock and improvised music scenes and a great opportunity for this electric quartet to meet for the first time at the Café Littéraire.

Adrien Guerne – tenor saxophone
Philipp Schlotter – keys
Laurent Méteau – electric bass
Pascal Lopinat – drums
