hyperlynx is a Swiss-Irish trio consisting of Laurent Méteau, Philipp Schlotter, and Matthew Jacobson. Blending jazz, post-rock, electronic music, ambient, and free improvisation, hyperlynx creates a genre-defying sonic alchemy, moving between the creative energies of Dublin and Zurich.
The trio stands out with a unique instrumental lineup: Rhodes, zither, electric guitar, synthesizer, and drums. They recorded Rest Energy in June 2024 with Omar Fra at Studio 42 in Winterthur, capturing the raw and gripping sound of their live performances. Their debut album will be released on October 10th, 2025 on cassette (and digital) by Dublin indie label Little Gem Records.
